The start of NEOSTARTER — A platform for the startup ecosystem
On 21 January 2019, NEOSTARTER made its first appearance to the public. NEOSTARTER is a digital matchmaking platform to connect startups with relevant investors and experts. After a year of hard work, and a lot of effort by the team, we came up with a solution that can help startups find investors or experts/mentors who match with their requirement.
For example, let us say you are a Fin Tech startup in Germany and want to match with investors based in Germany. With our platform, you can define the attributes and see only investors who are more likely to invest in your startup. Same goes for experts, now let us say, your startup is looking for a business development expert based in Germany. You would only see recommendations for experts who are in the Fin Tech domain and based in Germany.
Why are we doing this?
As a startup, we saw a gap in the process of startups raising capital.
The process starts from the founders doing research on which investor would be the right one for their startup. After that, they write custom emails and modify the pitch decks for the investor. Now imagine a single investor getting more than 100’s of pitch decks every day. What is the probability that they will spend the time to analyze the pitch deck? The founders could use the time optimizing their business that they spent on basic research of finding investors.
This is where NEOSTARTER comes into play; we eliminate the need to do search, research, and see about the matching of a startup with an investor/expert. Our smart algorithm only will show you relevant people who are more like be interested in the startup and investors/experts only see the startups that are more relevant to what they invest in;
Who can use the NEOSTARTER platform?
Following users can use the platform:
- Startup Enthusiasts: if you love the startup ecosystem or are involved with the startup ecosystem and want to contribute to the startup scene or connect with interesting startups across the globe.
- Founders: You are the founder of a startup and want to raise capital or are looking for capital funding. With our platform, you can match with investors and experts. In addition, you can connect with other founders to learn more about their startups.
- Investors: If you are a new or seasoned investor, you can use our platform to learn more about startups or match with startups that only fit your investment profile.
- Experts: You are an expert of your field and want to match with startups who are looking for advice/mentorship, or consultation of your field.
